C.Y.A.N: An Introduction

Welcome to the Christadelphian Young Adults Network (C.Y.A.N.), a group dedicated to bringing together young adult Christadelphians who are striving to live faithfully in the footsteps of our Lord Jesus Christ. We pray that God will bless our efforts as we seek to strengthen our faith, encourage one another, and grow together in our walks with God.

The Importance of Fellowship

In a world where distractions are abundant and challenges to our faith are constant, it is more crucial than ever to prioritise our spiritual health and our relationships with one another. The Bible reminds us of the importance of fellowship and the strength that comes from being part of a community of believers. Hebrews 10:24-25 encourages us to:

“consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

This passage highlights the power of fellowship: when we come together, we can inspire each other to live out our faith in meaningful ways, supporting one another through the ups and downs of life.

Building Each Other Up

The Apostle Paul often emphasised the value of unity and encouragement within the body of Christ. In 1 Thessalonians 5:11, he writes:

“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”

As young adults, we face unique challenges—whether in our personal lives, careers, or spiritual journeys. By connecting with one another, we can share our experiences, offer support, and build a strong foundation of faith that will carry us through all of life’s seasons.

A Community Rooted in Love

Our prayerful goal is to create a space where we as Christadelphians can come together, not only to deepen our understanding of God’s Word but also to form lasting friendships grounded in the love of Christ. In John 13:34-35, He says,

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples if you love one another.”

And lets also remember the words of Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 which is a powerful reminder that we are not meant to walk this path alone:

“Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labour: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.”

We pray that God blesses us with opportunities to spend meaningful time together, whether through Bible studies, social events, or simply sharing meals. Each time we meet is a chance to strengthen our bonds, uplift each other, and grow in our shared faith and draw closer to God.
